If you are working and would like to make a no-fuss regular donation to us, you can ask your Payroll team to arrange Payroll Giving. You are able to nominate a regular deduction from your gross salary to be gifted to a charity of your choosing. The scheme will be administered through the online PAYE tax system, so if your employer has signed up for the scheme you will receive the tax benefits on your donations each payday, rather than waiting to claim at the end of a tax year. The scheme is voluntary and employees can nominate any charity they choose. It costs employers nothing to take part.
If your employer has us on their system as Christchurch Women's Refuge, they will need to change this to Aviva (incorporating Christchurch Women's Refuge) Charitable Trust.

Most of us want to make the world a better place, particularly for those who will inherit a society they did not create. Sometimes working out how to make that difference seems too overwhelming to contemplate, but there is an easy way for some of us to help future New Zealanders – leaving a gift in our will.
By choosing to leave a bequest to Aviva, you are choosing leave a legacy of support for a violence-free Aotearoa.
Please contact us if you have items you are wishing to donate. Some things we always need and accept (e.g. non-perishable food or toiletries) but as our storage is limited, we cannot always accept other donations.

If you would like to donate furniture, bedding or electrical items, we recommend you contact The Christchurch Aunties, who are our first point of contact for such needs, as they have capacity to store and deliver items to our clients at no cost. For all other things on the list, or if you have an item that is not listed, please contact us and we will see if we can put your donation to good use. We do occasionally update our Facebook with specific requests, so be sure to check there regularly.
Thank you so much for your support.
