Next year, Aviva will be celebrating 50 years of our life saving mahi.
2023 marks 50 years since we opened our doors as Christchurch Women's Refuge. Our foundation in 1973 was the beginning of the family violence refuge movement and changed the social landscape of New Zealand permanently.
We're inviting all those who have journeyed with us for the last 50 years, supporters, workers and clients, to join us in celebrating this vital mahi.

We will be having a night of entertainment and inspiration as we look back on how far we have come, and celebrate the brave people who have made life changing steps towards safety and the dedicated workers who made this all possible. The night is a great excuse for you to put on your most fabulous outfit.

Full price tickets are $200 per person. Tables of 10 are available for $1800. Discounted early bird tickets are available until 31 December: $175 per person or $1600 for a table of 10.
We are also offering a further discount code for former staff, clients or sector partners. Please email [email protected] to receive this code.
We want to make this event as inclusive as possible. If price is a barrier, please contact us to discuss options. We are also offering supporters the chance to donate an extra ticket to allow clients or former staff members to attend for free.
