Volunteer for the Aviva Street Appeal (7th & 8th May)

We are looking for volunteer street collectors for our Street Appeal on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th May 2021. Everyone deserves a safe home. These funds will go to support Aviva's family and sexual violence support services.

 

 

Volunteers will be provided with an Aviva vest, bucket and collection materials, and assigned a specific location in or around Christchurch to collect donations from passers by.

Street Collectors need to be able to:

1. Collect for at least one hour on Friday 7th May or Saturday 8th May;
2. Transport themselves to and from their assigned collection site;
3. Return their collections to Aviva or a designated return site within one week of the Appeal;
4. Answer basic questions on Aviva services (training and information sheets available upon request); and
5. Be friendly and personable while representing Aviva.

We have collection sites available from Ashburton to Rangiora and all around Christchurch. Sites are available from 9am-6pm.
